EASE Annual Picnic 2002

A Day in Life at EASE

It was one of those fine days in life:
A lazy summer day in Oregon,
With magnificent Mt. Hood in the background,
Good food, good company, ...
All was just perfect.
(It was a bit cold, to be honest ;-)

On June 18, 2002, we, Easers, went on a 30 minute train ride to the foothills of Mt. Hood, and had a country barbecue.

Here are some pictures of that glorious day. Apologies for those who are missing here - either bad picture or no picture at all from the day. Please understand that due to the bright daylight and deep contrast in the train, some pictures are not very clear.

Click on the thumbnails for enlarged pictures of about 800x600.

The train, the mountain, ..., gorgeous

Tried to get as many folks as possible in the train ...

Bev and Max-orus

Loretta and Ron

Marie

Jack and Sharon

Max and Aaron

Bruce (could have acted as on the robbers?)

Paul and Dylan

We had a "simulated" robbery in the train.

Loretta's grandsons (Riley and Evan) and Max's grandson (Aaron) with nose jobs

Rob and Stacey

Tena - making sure no one's making any trouble.

We don't know this guy - no, honestly. He was far more scary than all the robbers combined. (No worry - Bryce was OK.)

Jack on his fourth or fifth trip to the food line

Mary, Dylan, Stacey, Rob, and Paul

Bryce, Mary, Stacey, and Nathan

Dennis and Bonnie

Aaron and Evan - Knights of the Iron (well, barbed wire) Horse

Way to go Van! (Van was truly "at ease", though he may not remember.)
